Neckbone Circuit Urban Women's Golf Apparel was inspired to bring awareness to the little known accomplishments of yesteryear's African-American women athletes. Neckbone Circuit urban style golf clothing is based on fact, courage, and the perseverance of black women golfers who pioneered the sport. From the 1800's to the present the African-American woman athlete has been a vital part of the history of golfing. In 1925 The United States Colored Golfers Association (USCGA) was established by black golfers, due to racial discrimination prohibiting blacks from playing at segregated courses and tournaments. In 1926 The Neckbone Circuit was the name used to describe the touring of tournaments of the USCGA. Marie Thompson won the first United Golfers National Open Women's Championship in 1930 and she defended the title in 1931. Our golf apparel is designed to remember the quality of golfers in the Neckbone Circuit and our design is a direct tribute to that. All of our clothing and apparel is made with 100% fine cotton, denim with quality embroidery.
